Individual Care With The latest Advances In Medicine
Spine surgery done the “classic” way is traditionally done with an open approach, meaning that the surgical area being operated on is opened with a long incision to allow full view and access to the anatomy by the surgeon. In the past recent years, there have been advances in technology that have allowed spinal conditions to be treated with the minimally invasive spinal surgery (MISS) approach.Dr. Brusovanik Helps CBS4's Eliott Rodriguez Without Surgery 2

Mr. Nelson Lazo
CEO Doctors Hospital
Baptist Health South Florida

Dear Sir,

It is 2:30am. So many thoughts going through my head, I decide to write them all down. First of all, I would like to say Doctors Hospital Baptist Health South Florida according o me, is the best in health care. I live in Nassau, Bahamas. I was injured at work back in October 2013, because of the injury I had to have two surgeries; one for my L spine and the other to my C-Spine. Neither surgery went well. I suffered a great pain and discomfort.

I came to (Baptist) Doctors Hospital Baptist Health South Florida to have the surgeries done over. It was here I met Dr. Georgiy Brusovanik. Dr. Brusovanik is a Godsend, an angel in human form. He is an awesome doctor. His skills are far to none. I don’t think right now anyone in his field is as good as he is. He’s the best; and the knowledge! His skills are proven when he executes his job.

Dr. Brusovanik treats his patients, not only myself, but also all with such compassion, kindness, and concern…sir, it touches deep in my soul. He treats us people and not just a dollar sign. I am from the islands, and we believe strongly when a person does well or great at what they do, you say it. You tell it, not just in secret, but shout from the mountaintop. When I arrived at Doctors Hospital Baptist Health South Florida in March of 2015, I could not walk without the aid of a walker, and a heavy back brace. Every step I took was so painful. It was as if I died a million deaths just to take one. I could not turn the right the right side of my body from the neck straight down, and there was a sharp pain going down my right arm. I went from one doctor to another, without any help or relief. I was so depressed; I never wanted to go outside. All I wanted to do was stay in my bed with the cover over my head. Everything I ate felt like it was stuck in my throat, but today I can say because of Dr. Brusovanik I can walk, I put the walker down, and did not take it back up. I no longer need the back brace, I can turn my body, I can touch my toes, I can do all of this without any pain. I am pain-free after having the surgeries, I have been given a new lease on life “Look out world, here I come”.

Mr. Nelson, Please help me tell Dr. Brusovanik how well please I am. I am a satisfied patient. His team is the best. Daisy is so good with the patients; her concern ad kindness will forever be recorded in my heart. Dr. Jessica (fondly called Dr. Jess by me), Melissa, Christy, Dr. Kallan – the whole team. I have to give it to them. They are the best. Dr. Sandee Bristow is not only beautiful on the outside, but the inside as well. She is the best in Pain Management. Dr. Bristow is top notch, a great asset to your company. Dr. Brijbag knows his job. Such a great team of doctors, they are each awesome in their rightful field. In fact, your physician team are the greatest. They are a good fit, it will be in your best interest and in the interest of your facility not to lose any of them, as it would be a great loss.

Mr. Nelson, please bear with me, I know my rambling might be about too much for you, but hey, I am sick and if I took the time to write, I will be so honored if you take the time to read it, the saying are honest, and there this is my experience of Doctors Hospital Baptist Health South Florida.

Sincerely,

Dellareese Dorsett
